Downtown at Yale

The owner had already designed his own apartment and proven the concept worked. The next move was bigger: buying multiple units in the same luxury building and running them as a single, hotel-style listing — an aparthotel — and for that, the design had to look genuinely professional and repeat flawlessly from unit to unit.

We took his original apartment as our starting point, drawing out the contemporary style and the soft light-gray palette with brass accents he'd landed on — then elevated every layer. Considered furniture, art, lighting and styling turned a good personal design into a polished, replicable system: one look that holds up across the whole building, photographs like a boutique hotel, and earns a 4.96-star Guest Favourite rating.
